2014 Mission Projects

Our 2014 Mission Projects are:

Hope School for Hearing Impaired Children Binh Thanh: 
Ongoing support of 18 children for another year, school fees, books, uniforms etc. Medical support for Hope school students.
 
My Trung, Mekong Delta various schools: 
Ongoing support of 20 children for another year, school fees, books, uniforms etc.
Ba Ton, Mekong Delta various schools: 
Ongoing support of 20 children for another year, school fees, books, uniforms etc.
Hoa Dinh, Mekong Delta: 
Ongoing support of 16 children for another year, school fees, books, uniforms etc.
“Song Lo” School, Binh Thanh district, Sai Gon:
Ongoing support of 2 children, school fees etc; Tram has got special needs, she is suffering from cerebral palsy;
Peace Village Saigon:  
General and medical support for the Peace Village in Sai Gon, visit children at Peace Village, the kids need TLC more than anything else, various other needs, i.e. tuition and music / art lessons, clothes - especially baby clothes;
House of Grace:  Ongoing support for Hoa Van Stone’s Company of Grace. Hoa is a Vietnamese Australian Baptist Pastor who set up a centre to support people with disabilities;
Touch A Life project (TAL): TAL run shelters for orphans in Sai Gon. Caregivers take in up to 20 orphans and provide their every needs including schooling, which is relatively expensive.        
TAL also runs a shelter for pregnant woman. Viet Nam has the second highest abortion rate in the world.
Laptop Appeal:  We always need pre-loved laptops for the students in the Mekong delta. When you replace your laptop and you get a new one can you then PLEASE donate the old one to us.

Ongoing financial support: For Phan Thi, Lien Chau her sister Nam Tran and brother Chuang Hop, orphans in Da Nang. Lien is studying architecture; her brother is still at High school,

Continued support for 7 children: In district 8. Children did not go to school; parents could not afford. CVSG worked out a solution with parents and authorities. Children started school on the 11th of September 2012.

All in all we affect the lives of over 140 children / students, not counting the numerous children in each of the 12 shelters; plus the women in the pregnant woman shelter.
